Hello, friends! My name's Matt and I'm incredibly stoked to join the McMahon team as an Engagement Marketing Specialist. I'll be managing social media for local businesses, crafting email campaigns, designing websites, and a little bit of everything in-between.

Here are a few things you should know about me.

1) You’ll probably find me with a camera plastered to my face.

I kicked off my paid video gig in high school, taping my middle school’s theatrical production of “Aladdin.”

Innocently, I assumed it wouldn’t be too difficult selling recordings of the play to fawning parents for a handsome profit. How hard could it be?

In-between an old woman bulldozing my borrowed camera and gunking up my fingertips on a homemade DVD label maker, I jumped into “A Whole New World” of visual creating.

I spent what must have been decades at the family iMac — my brow laboriously furrowed in frantic editing.

After countless nights of squinting into iMovie, I finished the project and raked in enough profit to help fund a Missions Trip to Brazil.

The movie? It was okay. But me — I had become a professional creator (and I’m still running with that for now).

2) I can obsess over my coffee for hours.

The addiction started with an awkwardly shaped plastic tube called an Aeropress.

It seemed innocent enough at first - like a toy.

But holy percolation, this unassuming coffee miracle-maker sent me on a 4-year journey into the heart of brewing obsession.

Since then, I’ve continued to faithfully drink delightful craft coffee using a small lab of beakers, grinders, vacuum-containers, kettles — and yes — a scale to weigh my beans by the gram like a scene straight out of Breaking Bad.

Come and join me for a cup anytime! It’s one of my favorite not-so-guilty pleasures.

3) You’ll find me shamelessly jamming to Hamilton in the McMahonCave’s back corner.

I feel strongly about a handful of music, but for the past several months the Broadway sensation about America’s scrappiest Founding Father has dominated my Spotify listening

Whether I’m grinding through worktalking a big game, or making a massive impression when I enter the room, there’s a star-studded Hamilton track relevant for every occasion.
